Apprenticeships

2012: Apprenticed with the “Kiln Design Studio” during the summer of 2012. I learned how to

spin copper forms on a lathe, as well as other forming techniques and furthering my knowledge

in enamel.

2008-2011: Apprenticed with Dawn Bergmaier as a production assistant and also took her

college level courses and received high school credit.

2003-2007: Apprenticed with Kristen Urffer. She taught me the basics and metalsmithing, as

well as helped me learn the finer points of design through critical thinking in regards to my own

work.
